What is PPR? PP-R (polypropylene random) pipe is also called three-type polypropylene pipe

and also called random copolymer polypropylene pipe or PPR pipe.

PPR Advantages:

Non-toxic and hygienic

The raw material molecules of PP-R are only carbon and hydrogen elements, and there are no harmful or toxic elements.
It is hygienic and reliable. It is not only used in hot and cold water pipes but also in pure drinking water systems.

Good heat resistance and corrosion resistance

It can withstand the water temperature of 95 degrees Celsius, and the short-term temperature can reach 110 degrees.
It has no chemical effect on most of the ions in the water and chemicals in the building, and will not rust, corrode,
or breed bacteria.

Lightweight, high strength, good toughness

The density is 0.89-0.91g/cm3, which is only one-ninth of the steel pipe and one-tenth of the copper pipe.
The compressive strength can reach more than 5.0Mpa (50kg/cm2). It has good toughness and impact resistance.
The thermal conductivity at 20 is 0.23-0.24W/MK, which is higher than that of the steel pipe (43-52W/mk).

Easy installation and reliable connection

PP-R has good welding performance. Pipes and pipe fittings can be connected by hot melt and electrofusion,
which is easy to install and reliable.
The strength of the connecting part is greater than the strength of the pipe itself.

Materials can be recycled

The PP-R waste is cleaned and crushed and then recycled for the production of pipes and fittings.
The amount of recycled material does not exceed 10% of the total, which does not affect product quality.
