Working Principle

The multi-way ball valve can not only flexibly control the confluence, diversion, and switching of the flow direction of the medium on the pipeline, but also can close any channel and connect the other two channels. This type of ball valve should generally be installed horizontally in the pipeline.

Main Feature

The ball valve itself is compact in structure, reliable in sealing, simple in structure, and convenient in maintenance. The sealing surface and the spherical surface are often in a closed state, which is not easily eroded by the medium, is easy to operate and maintain, suitable for general working media such as water, solvent, acid, and natural gas, and is also suitable for media with harsh working conditions, such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, and ethylene, and is widely used in various industries. Ball Valve Operation

(1) Make sure that the pipeline and valve have been flushed before operation.
(2) The operation of the valve is completed by driving the valve stem to rotate according to the magnitude of the input signal of the actuator: when it rotates 1/4 circle (90°) in the forward direction, the valve is closed. The valve opens when the reverse rotation is 1/4 turn (90°).
(3) When the direction indicating arrow of the actuator is parallel to the pipeline, the ball valve is in the open state; when the indicating arrow is perpendicular to the pipeline, the ball valve is in the closed state.

Ball Valve Installation

1.Remove the protective covers on both sides of the flange end, and rinse and clean with the valve fully open.

2.Before installation, the complete machine test should be carried out according to the specified signal (electricity or gas) (to prevent the vibration caused by transportation from affecting the performance), and it can be installed online after passing the test (connection according to the circuit diagram of the electric actuator).

3.Before preparing to connect with the pipeline, the remaining impurities in the pipeline must be flushed and removed (these substances may damage the valve seat and ball).

4.During installation, please do not use the actuator part of the valve as a lifting point to avoid damage to the actuator and accessories.

5.This type of valve should be installed in the horizontal or vertical direction of the pipeline.

6.The pipeline near the installation point must not be drooped or subjected to an external force. Pipe brackets or supports can be used to eliminate the deviation of the pipeline.

7.After connecting with the pipeline, please cross-tighten the flange connection bolts with the specified torque.
